Kona Trans is the largest trucking company on the Big Island and has been family-owned and in operation since 1939. We employ a labor and management staff of 60 island-wide with base yards in Kailua-Kona and in Hilo.
We have continued to evolve our company with the changing times to incorporate technologies like clean diesel engines, advanced communications equipment, and the latest transportation tracking systems.
Our company prides itself on moving towards a green foot print on the island; when possible all cardboard, plastic, wood and glass are recycled. Solar panels provide our office and warehouses with virtually all of our electrical power needs.
We hire and train professional drivers and movers that strive to be the best at what they do.
Kona Trans is a fully licensed and insured Hawaii based company.
